Itineraries

Day 1

Entebbe – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

 Morning

Pick-up from your hotel or Entebbe International Airport by your safari driver-guide.

Briefing about the safari.

Afternoon

Drive through Uganda’s rolling hills and lush countryside.

Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the mountain gorillas.

Check-in at Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge.

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Kisoro

Morning

Early breakfast followed by transfer to Bwindi park headquarters.

Register and receive a briefing from park rangers on trekking rules.

Begin gorilla trekking (2–6 hrs) until you locate your assigned gorilla family.

Afternoon

Spend one magical hour observing gorillas in their natural habitat.

Return to the lodge for refreshments and hot lunch.

Later, transfer by road to Kisoro town.

Evening

Check-in at Travellers Rest Camp.

Optional walk around Kisoro town or relax at the lodge.

Day 3

Golden Monkey Trekking – Batwa Cultural Tour (Optional)

 Departure – Kilimanjaro International Airport

Drive back to Kilimanjaro Airport with views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro.
