General Tips
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit East Africa largely depends on what you want to see and do, but here's a general guide:
15.June–October: This is the dry season and the best time for wildlife viewing. Animals gather around water sources, and it's easier to spot them. This is also when the Great Migration in Tanzania and Kenya takes place.
16.November–December: The short rains arrive, but it’s still a good time for safaris, with fewer tourists. The parks are lush, and wildlife viewing is still excellent.
17.January–March: This is another great period for safaris, with excellent wildlife visibility and mild weather.
18.April–May: The long rains can make some areas difficult to access, but it's an excellent time to visit if you want fewer tourists and lower prices. This is also a great time for birdwatching
