cancellation & refund policy

If you need to cancel your safari booking, you must notify us in writing via email at tours@safari56.com. The date on which we receive your written notification will determine the cancellation fees, as follows:

Cancellation Period Refund Policy
More than 60 days before safari start date 90% refund of total tour cost
45 – 59 days before safari start date 70% refund of total tour cost
30 – 44 days before safari start date 50% refund of total tour cost
15 – 29 days before safari start date 25% refund of total tour cost
Less than 14 days before safari start date No refund

Note: The initial deposit (usually 30%) is non-refundable, as it is used to secure accommodation, transport, and other services.

In the unlikely event that Safari 56 Limited must cancel your tour due to unforeseen circumstances (such as political instability, natural disasters, or force majeure), we will:

  • Offer an alternative trip of equal value, or

  • Issue a full refund (excluding any non-recoverable third-party costs).
