If you need to cancel your safari booking, you must notify us in writing via email at tours@safari56.com. The date on which we receive your written notification will determine the cancellation fees.
If you cancel your safari, the refund policy applies to the remaining balance as follows:

Note: The initial deposit (usually 30%) is non-refundable, as it is used to secure accommodation, transport, and other services.
No-show: If you fail to arrive on the scheduled date without notice, no refund will be provided.
Early departure: If you choose to leave the safari early for personal reasons, no partial refunds will be given.
Safari 56 Limited shall not be held liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Heavy rains, floods, storms, or other extreme weather conditions
Natural disasters
Flight cancellations, delays, or missed connections
Train breakdowns, cancellations, or delays
Government restrictions, road closures, or security advisories
Strikes or civil disturbances
If weather conditions (e.g. heavy rain, flooding) or natural disasters make the safari unsafe or impossible:
Safari 56 Limited may reschedule, reroute, or shorten the itinerary for safety reasons.
No refunds shall be issued for unused services caused by such events.
Where possible, alternative activities or destinations of similar value will be offered.
If a client misses part or all of the safari due to:
Flight delays or cancellations
Train delays or breakdowns
Safari 56 Limited shall:
Assist with rearranging the safari where possible, subject to availability.
Not be responsible for costs arising from missed safaris, accommodation, park fees, or activities already paid to third parties.
No cash refunds shall be made for safaris disrupted by force majeure events.
Any recoverable amounts from third-party suppliers (hotels, airlines, park authorities) will be passed to the client only if refunded to Safari 56 Limited.
Non-refundable services (park fees, permits, transport, accommodation) remain non-refundable
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation and will be made via the original payment method with bank charges paid by the client.
To secure your safari, a 30% deposit is required and is non-refundable.
This covers advance operational costs such as park entry fees, accommodation confirmations, vehicle allocation, and guide scheduling.
We understand that plans may change. We allow one free modification (date change or minor itinerary adjustment) if requested at least 30 days before the start of the tour, subject to availability. Additional modifications may incur administrative charges.
Safari 56 Limited strongly recommends that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss of personal property.
Safari 56 Limited reserves the right to alter or cancel any part of the safari itinerary without prior notice if client safety is at risk. Such decisions are final and made in the best interest of all parties.
By confirming a booking with Safari 56 Limited, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Force Majeure & Travel Disruption Policy.
